Juan Cabrera is a corporate technology attorney, former teacher and currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools at El Paso ISD. He is the co-founder of the Texas Council of Urban School Districts and serves on the Executive Board of the Council of Great City Schools.
Cabrera believes that the success of our economy is predicated on the quality of our American education systems. Thus understanding, analyzing and discussing our education systems and how to improve them is critical to our future success. Cabrera stated, “We will not maintain our position as a global leader in this 21st century knowledge economy unless our education systems are designed to meet our economic needs”
